Terms of use
These terms explain the rules for accessing and using Pitch Parent as a parent, carer, coach, team administrator or platform administrator.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
1. About Pitch Parent
Pitch Parent is a football team-management service operated by Grow Smart Coaching Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”). It helps authorised users coordinate teams, players, events, availability, communications, tactics and related football activity.
By creating an account or using Pitch Parent, you agree to these terms. If a club or team has arranged your access, its own policies may also apply, but they cannot replace these terms.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You must keep login details secure and tell us or your team administrator promptly about suspected misuse.
- You may only enter or manage information for a team or player when you are authorised to do so.
- You must not share an account in a way that bypasses individual roles, permissions or audit records.
Pitch Parent accounts are currently intended for adults. A child must not create or independently use an account unless we introduce an age-appropriate flow and the required permissions and safeguards.
3. Team roles and permissions
Features and information are limited according to team membership and role. A user may hold different roles in different teams. You must not attempt to access another team, child or account outside the permissions granted to you. Team administrators are responsible for reviewing memberships and removing access when it is no longer appropriate.
4. Children’s information and safeguarding
Children’s information must be limited to what is reasonably needed for team administration and football participation. Users must follow their club’s safeguarding, photography, communications and consent policies. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive details, private safeguarding reports or inappropriate content.
Pitch Parent is an administration tool. It is not an emergency, medical, safeguarding-reporting or background- checking service. Urgent welfare or safeguarding concerns must be reported through the appropriate club and official channels.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Pitch Parent unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively or to harass another person;
- upload content that infringes privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or safeguarding rights;
- probe, disable, bypass or interfere with authentication, permissions, security or service operation;
- introduce malware, scrape the service without permission, or use another person’s identity;
- use team or player information for unrelated marketing, profiling or commercial purposes.
6. Content and permissions
You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and support Pitch Parent. You confirm that you have the authority and any required consent to submit it.
The Pitch Parent name, software, design and platform materials belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to users or teams.
7. Service changes and availability
Pitch Parent is still in development. We may improve, replace, suspend or withdraw features, and may need to interrupt access for maintenance or security. We will take reasonable care but do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every team workflow.
8. Suspension and ending access
We or an authorised team administrator may suspend or remove access where a membership ends, security is at risk, these terms are breached, or the service is being misused. Where reasonable and lawful, users will be given notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.
9. Responsibility and liability
Users and teams remain responsible for football, travel, attendance, selection, safeguarding and communication decisions. Information in Pitch Parent should be checked where a mistake could affect safety or participation.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or applicable consumer rights. Any more detailed liability limits will be confirmed before paid or public launch and should receive legal review.
10. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Pitch Parent may rely on trusted third-party hosting, authentication, storage, analytics and communications providers. Their terms may apply when users interact directly with their services.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights allowing a consumer to bring a claim elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent in writing to Grow Smart Coaching Limited, Sovereign House, 22 Shelley Road, Worthing, England, BN11 1TU. A dedicated support email address will be added before public launch.
